“Helping Everyone Discover Their Own Voice and Music”

Our lessons are designed to open the door to music for everyone—whether you dream of a professional career or simply want to enjoy music as a lifelong passion.

For Those Who Want to Learn for Fun or Build a Strong Foundation

You don’t need to aim for a professional career to join.

The content of the lessons never changes—what changes is simply the pace that suits you.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not confident in my singing” or “My voice doesn’t carry,” this program is especially for you.

Your voice is already a beautiful gem within you. By shaping and polishing it together, you’ll soon find yourself saying, “Singing is fun,” and “I love my own voice.”

The same goes for piano—whether you just want to try playing or grow your repertoire, the journey of making music is joyful for both children and adults alike.

Voice, Vocal

vocal voice class

Vocal lessons are conducted one-on-one.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and level, but typically begin with gentle stretching, posture alignment, and exercises to establish diaphragmatic breathing.

From there, we assess how you currently use your voice—identifying habitual tensions and which muscles are under- or over-used—and work through targeted vocalises to correct and retrain coordination.

Repertoire work focuses on diction, rhythm, body usage, resonance, and emotional delivery, exploring expressive detail with care. At every step we explain not only what to do but why it works and how to practice it, progressing at a pace that suits you.

From fundamentals to advanced technique, you will receive the practical skills and musical knowledge needed to move confidently toward your ideal singing style.

Gospel Choir Class

Thursday mornings (twice a month)

gospel choir class

The beauty of gospel music is not only in its powerful voices.

It is in the way it frees the heart, connects people, and reminds us how joyful and liberating it feels to simply sing.

Over many years working with gospel, I have seen countless moments where this music transcends religion and touches people deeply.

While rooted in church traditions, gospel welcomes everyone. Faith is not required—only a love for the music itself.

In Japan, I once formed a choir where members joined for the simple reason that they loved gospel.

You can be one of those people too.

This class is for anyone who loves to sing, wants to try singing in harmony, and wishes to feel the uplifting energy of gospel with their whole being.

Lessons are held twice a month, on Thursday mornings.

We offer two levels:

  • Beginner Class: For those new to choir or gospel.

Learn how to find your notes, use your voice, build harmonies, and discover the background of gospel music.

Everything is taught step by step, making it easy for beginners to join with confidence.

    (Join the waiting list)

  • Regular Class: For those with prior gospel or choir experience, or who have completed the Beginner Class.

Explore more advanced harmonies, rhythm nuances, and English pronunciation guidance, in a musically rich and exciting program.

There is a joy in layering voices together that cannot be felt alone.

Come and share those soul-stirring moments with us.

Acoustic Artist

acoustic artist class

I want to sing and play at the same time.

I want to express my music with my own voice and hands.

If you feel this way, this class is designed to help you make it real.

Through one-on-one lessons, we build both the practical skills and the artistic foundation needed to perform as a singer and instrumentalist.

Whether you want to enjoy it as a hobby or prepare for the professional stage, we tailor the lessons to your personal goals.

For the instrumental part, we focus on piano and ukulele.

(For other instruments such as guitar, we do not teach performance technique itself, but we will guide you in how to structure your performance, balance playing and singing together, and captivate an audience on stage.)

Playing alone is not enough. Singing alone is not enough.

The art of singer-song performance lies in merging both to create your own unique world.

I will fully support you in exploring music seriously and using it as a true form of self-expression.

If you are visiting Hawai‘i, single trial lessons are also available. Please feel free to inquire.

Piano

piano lesson

Our piano instructors have spent many years immersed in the world of classical music from a young age, building a strong foundation and deep connection with the instrument.

With this experience, we provide lessons tailored to each student’s goals—from children just beginning their piano journey, to adults who wish to reconnect with the instrument later in life.

Whether you want to establish solid fundamentals, start from reading notes, or simply enjoy piano as a hobby, we carefully adjust to your pace and personal needs.

While our foundation is in classical music, we also welcome other styles such as pop and jazz.

Beyond playing technique, we emphasize understanding the background and structure of music.

This means lessons may also include music theorysolfège, sight-singing, rhythm training, sight-reading, and score analysis—helping you develop the ability to truly understand and enjoy music at a deeper level.

Learning piano is not only about playing notes correctly.

It is about expressing yourself through sound.

Let your first step with us be an invitation to discover both the joy and depth of music through the piano.

Online Lesson

online lesson

Even at a distance, your voice will transform.

With our Zoom-based online lessons, you can join the NA LEO ALOHA Artist Program in real time, no matter where you are in the world.

You might wonder: “Can detailed guidance really be delivered without being face-to-face?

The answer is yes.

Our instructors have trained ears that instantly recognize how your body is being used, where tension lies, and what habits may be limiting your voice. That ability does not change—even through a screen.

Online sessions cover everything you would expect in person: breathing techniques, vocal exercises, piano fingering and posture, and detailed coaching on repertoire.

Through the camera, we carefully observe your posture, expression, and body movement to guide you toward your best sound and performance.

We recommend using a computer or tablet with a larger screen for lessons, but a smartphone can also be used if needed.

And there are unique advantages to online learning: practicing in your own environment allows for a smoother connection between what you learn in lessons and your daily practice. This makes it easier to apply new techniques consistently.

After each lesson, you’ll also receive personalized practice methods and focus points designed just for you. With steady effort, you will see real progress.

“Even at a distance, true change happens.”

That is the strength of our online lessons.

The NA LEO ALOHA Difference

<Voice, Vocal>

At the heart of our program lies a single belief:

“The body itself is the instrument.”

By simply listening to your voice, we can instantly sense where unnecessary tension lies and where your body is not being used effectively. With just a slight adjustment in posture or muscle engagement, your voice can transform dramatically.

That immediate shift often feels like a true awakening—an experience as if your voice has suddenly “come alive.”

But the real transformation begins there.

Through consistent adjustment and training, your authentic voice gradually awakens. Your natural volume grows, your range expands, and you discover vocal possibilities you never knew existed.

<Piano, Ukulele>

Our Piano and Ukulele lessons go far beyond technical instruction.

Each instructor has undergone rigorous training, possesses outstanding performance skills, and brings years of teaching experience. Yet, their true strength lies not only in expertise, but in the ability to create fully customized lessons tailored to each student’s individuality and goals.

We cultivate a space where music is joyfully explored, not just practiced—where both beginners and advanced students can feel safe and inspired.

Lessons are not simply about “teaching”; they are moments of sharing music, celebrating growth, and nurturing a love of learning. Because of this, our classrooms are naturally filled with smiles, and students maintain long-lasting motivation to continue their musical journey.

At the foundation of all we do is one guiding principle: we teach with love.

This means going beyond technical skills to truly honor each student’s voice, story, and growth.

We believe that every individual—regardless of level—carries a unique music within them. Our role is to polish that raw gem and reveal the hidden potential that even the student themselves may not yet see.

While musical change requires clear theory and technique, true growth also depends on trust and compassion.

That is why we walk alongside you—not only as instructors, but as wholehearted supporters—celebrating every step of your musical journey together.

Every person carries a voice that is uniquely their own.

Each of us holds a raw gem—our voice, our sensitivity, our expression.

Some have already begun polishing that gem, while others may not yet realize its true value.

We are here to walk alongside you, helping nurture that gem at your own pace, shaping it into the form you aspire to.

And one day, we hope with all our hearts that your voice—your sound—will touch someone else’s heart.
