Hello, I’m Mayumi, the founder of NA LEO ALOHA Artist Program.

Our official website is finally complete, and I’ve decided to start this blog.

Let me begin by introducing myself through a short Q&A.

Q: Why did you start the NA LEO ALOHA Artist Program?

A: For many years, I have worked as a vocal coach. I never imagined creating my own structured program like a music school. But as the number of students grew, I began to feel the need to organize everything under one vision. I realized that with a proper program, I could offer more—such as giving students opportunities to perform, encouraging them to take on competitions, and creating a real sense of community.

Q: Is NA LEO ALOHA Artist Program a school?

A: No, it’s not a school in the traditional sense. I continue to teach my students one-on-one, just as I always have. That personal connection is important to me.

Q: What does the name “NA LEO ALOHA” mean?

A: In Hawaiian, it means “voices of love.” It reflects the idea of sharing voices full of love with the world. Whether you aim to become a professional artist or simply enjoy singing as a hobby, I believe your voice can reach someone’s heart.

Q: Why Hawaii?

A: After moving to Hawaii for family reasons, I began to truly learn and experience the spirit of Aloha. I strongly felt that this culture of love, respect, and connection should be part of music education.

Q: What’s your vision for the future?

A: I want to help as many musicians as possible grow and discover the joy of music. For those who aim high, I hope to guide them toward international opportunities and success.

That’s all for now—thank you for reading my very first blog post!
